North Shore Arts Association is comprised of artists, associates, corporate members and others who are committed to the advancement and preservation of the fine arts. NSAA has a thriving artist membership of over 300 artists, recognized nationally and worldwide, working in a variety of media and styles. The gallery presents rotating exhibits throughout the May to October season, all works are for sale.

Majestically situated on the water’s edge, our two-story gallery overlooks Gloucester’s inner harbor and Smith Cove, located at 11 Pirates Lane in Gloucester. The gallery first exhibited artwork in 1923. Great artists such as Winslow Homer, Fitz Henry Lane and John Twachtman lived and worked in this area. Many other notable American Impressionists were summer residents. We invite you to view and acquire our artists’ works, participate in our community and support our association.

North Shore Arts Association opens for its 90th season on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays from Noon to 5 pm. In addition to artist member exhibitions, NSAA will host the travelling exhibit from I.S.E.A.
