Auction 2008!

The 2008 Annual Goods and Services Auction sponsored by the Rockport Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Rockport Art Association on Friday, September 12, with an auction preview and silent auction beginning at 5:30 pm, and the live auction commencing at 7:15 pm. Rick Doucette will serve as Auctioneer for this year's event. The evening will include a light boxed meal and a cash bar, and admission will be $20 per person at the door. Tables of 10 may be reserved in advance for $175.

A 12-member committee chaired by Laurene Wessel, Chris Marek, and Susan Lovasco are working diligently to plan and prepare for Auction 2008. Committee members are acquiring attractive and valuable auction items daily. Donations are coming in from area shops, inns, artists, entrepreneurs, individuals and places from afar! Additional donations to the Rockport Chamber of Commerce auction are always welcome and encouraged. Anyone wishing to donate a good or service is invited to contact one of auction committee members. Anyone wishing to reserve a table or make a financial contribution in support of Auction 2008 is invited to contact Peter Webber or Susan Lucas at the Rockport Chamber office (978-546-6575).
