Neck with a wagon rides from Dock Square to the top of Bearskin Neck and back.

Dress up your dog and enter our fun parade
in downtown Rockport. Registration at Good Dog! Gallery, 36 Bearskin Neck. $10
registration fee benefits the Cape Ann Animal Aid. Everyone takes home a photo
of their dog! Treats for all! Rain date Sunday, May 18.

Rockport High School Drama Club presents "A Funny Thing Happened
on the Way to the Forum" -- music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim-- in
the Rockport High School auditorium. (Performances also May 15 and 16, 7:30pm.)

17 and 18 RCOC Bake Sale & Children's Craft Activity
10am to 5pm
At Dock Square island starting at 10am. Proceeds benefit civic
and community improvements.

17 and 18 Shops, Galleries and Restaurants Celebrate
the Season!
Retail stores will be hosting special events and creating
outside displays to roll out their new spring and summer merchandise. Gallery
exhibits, open houses, and artist demonstrations will be taking place throughout
town, and special menus will be offered by Rockport restaurants.

17 and 18 Musicians and Street Entertainers All Day
Musicians,
jugglers, balloon artists and more will be performing throughout the day on both
Saturday and Sunday at various locations in the downtown area. Come and enjoy
the music and entertainment with your family!

& Flowers Weekend All Day
Rockport Art Association, Main St.
Unique, art-inspired floral arrangements will be on public display at the Art
Association galleries throughout the weekend.

17 and 18 Outdoor Painting Workshop All Day
Painters
will be demonstrating their artistic abilities throughout town
painting the
many scenes and landscapes that Rockport is famous for.

17 & 18 Children's Activities & Live Music
11am to 4pm
Children's games, clowns, face painting, and balloons in Harvey
Park. Strawberry shortcake, drinks, popcorn and N.Y.R.E. souvenirs will also be
on sale. Proceeds benefit New Year's Rockport Eve.

18 RHS & RMS Jazz Bands: Jazz Festival 1pm
to 5pm
Six Rockport school bands playing a jazz festival at the First Congregational
Church. Rain venue: Haskins Building.

of Motif #1 11am to 2pm
Les Bartlett will be telling stories of
the Motif on Sunday on Bradley Wharf. He will also be showing segments from his
DVD on the Legion's Motif Float for the Chicago World's Fair.

to 4pm
At the DPW yard on upper Main Street, next to Police Station.

Trolley The trolley will run on a continuous loop from Blue
Gate Meadow Lot, with stops at Community House (by request), Rockport Market,
Dock Square, Toad Hall Bookstore, Front Beach, Back Beach and the Rockport Train
station from 11am to 7pm.
